Summary
A packaging label for the Kodak Instamatic 304 Outfit. This was received by Kodak Australasia's Packaging Design department on the 9 June 1965, from the Eastman Kodak printers, perhaps for reference or use in their own production. The Instamatic 304 Outfit came with a film cartridge and flashcubes. This label, likely adhered to the top of the outfit, features two small pictures showing how to load the film and flashcubes, with text that stresses the ease of use and accessibility of the Instamatic camera.
Part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
Physical Description
