Paper badge or tag, otherwise known as a fundraising badge for the Lord Mayor's Appeal for Partially Blinded Soldiers and Travellers Aid Society, 1943. The badge was made by A. W. Patrick, Fitzroy, Victoria. It is part of the Captain F. S. Laurie Collection.
Physical Description
A cut-out plastic-coated cardboard tag in the shape of a shield. Text is printed on both sides in blue ink. There is a hole at the top where a metal pin would have fitted through to attach the badge to clothing. The badge is soiled. There is a horizontal crease in the badge and the reverse is worn.
