Moulded square diamond shaped metal brooch inset with a plastic, possibly celluloid, floral design on the obverse. The brooch is believed to be a souvenir from World War I, although further verification is required.
Physical Description
Moulded square diamond shaped metal brooch inset with a plastic, possibly celluloid, floral design on the obverse. The brass-coloured metal is moulded with decorative designs around the red, pink, orange, green, blue, white and off-white coloured plastics of the floral design. A metal pin and pin enclosure is attached on the reverse. Engraved text appears on the reverse. The brooch is tarnished and soiled. Spots of green patina appear on both sides of the brooch.
