Summary
Black and white photograph showing two steam turbine-driven 3MW (850 ton) Worthington centrifugal refrigeration compressors in the Machine Hall of the Power House (Building 11) of the Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd Coburg factory complex during the construction phase in mid to late 1960.
Here the compressors can be seen already assembled and mounted on their foundations and in the process of being connected to their respective condenser and chilled water shell and tube heat exchangers, partly visible in the background.
This photograph is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Interior view of factory showing chillers on large concrete supports. A man, unknown, is standing next to the unit in overalls. The steel columns and trussed roof structure of the Machine Hall are clearly visible along with the overhead crane rail.
