Summary
Wooden club crafted in the Pacific Rim/ Solomon Islands, exhibited at the 1880 Melbourne International Exhibition. Many functional and ornamental native weapons were displayed in the various colonial settlement courts at the 1880 Melbourne International Exhibition.
Physical Description
Long handled club. Wooden body with flat, flared, slightly pointed tip. Around the handles is finely woven raffia, with coloured patterning. No markings.
