Summary
Bronze bell manufactured in Italy and displayed in the Italian Court at the Melbourne International Exhibition. The family of John Twycross have always believed it to be modelled on one of the bell from St Peter's Basilica, Rome.
Physical Description
Tapering out cylindrical with four putti around finial at top. Around body of bell a religious processional below hanging lamps and flying putti. Two medallions with portrait busts and heraldic shields (indistinct).
