Physical Description
An unissued prize medal (47 mm diameter) featuring a stylized bust of a Roman Soldier facing left and holding a shield ( the artist's initials H.S. are on the shield) and wearing wreathed helmet together with the name of the society and space for engraving a winner's details.
Obverse Description
Around fern wreath on broad rim, GAWLER AGRICULTURAL HORTICULTURAL & FLORICULTURAL SOCIETY S.A. : Central circular area available to engrave details of a winner.
Reverse Description
Stylized bust of a Roman Soldier facing left and holding a shield ( the artist's initials H.S. are on the shield) and wearing wreathed helmet
