The Wattle Washing Machine Company Pty Ltd made washing machines, possibly manual, in the 1920s. They were based in Luton Street (or Lane) Hawthorn, in the mid 1920s, but seem only to have been in business for a couple of years. By the mid-1930s the company had become Wringers Pty Ltd, a clothes wringer manufacturer, although the reason for this change is unknown.
