A rollingstock builder's plate, very likely for a Goods wagon, made by the Victorian Railways Newport Workshops, Victoria, Australia, 1914.
Physical Description
Oval brass plate. Surface corrosion. Remains of red paint on surface. Two holes for mounting; remains of nails or screws that secured plate to wagon. Text in relief. Number '4' is distorted. Unrestored.
