Test plate for the left cylinder of locomotive engine no. 703 manufactured for Victorian Railways by the North British Locomotive Company Limited, Hyde Park, Glasgow, Scotland, dated 30th January, 1951.
Physical Description
Rectangular brass plate with stamped text and text in shallow relief. Two holes at outer edge. Surface soiling and corrosion. Lower right corner has 'VR' stamped within a 'M' shape.
