Twenty page 'export price list' booklet advertising Pyrex glass ovenware products made by James A Jobling & Co Ltd glass works in England in 1925. The cover features the slogan "Pyrex. The golden tinted transparent ovenware". The booklet lists prices and is illustrated with black and white images of the Pyrex products. These include casserole dishes, pie dishes, tea pots, coffee pots, trays, soup dishes, ramekins, pudding dishes, bread pans and cake pans. Pyrex was described as the ideal cooking material. The brochure claimed that "the hard smooth surface of Pyrex cannont peel off or be affected by the food... It never flakes, crazes, rusts, discolours, absorbs odours, corrodes or burns out. You will find that it lasts a lifetime." The booklet includes a report from the 'Good Housekeeping Institute' in London that was sent to James Jobling & Co Ltd, which comments favourably on the efficiency of the design and operation of Pyrex.
