Date range based on Brooks' dates for appearance on British sites. Klose and Malan state that this waretype (often called 'Chelsea Sprig') was popular on bone china tea wares in the second quarter of the 19th century. Although commonly found on 19th century archaeological sites, the location and name of the manufacturer(s) of this style of decoration is unknown.
