One dark-green glass bottle base fragment. Has a conical pushup with a feint impression or ridge part way up and pointed indentation at the apex that is typical of bottles made using a metal-tipped wooden pushup tool. Date range of manufacture is circa 1820 to circa 1870.

Distinguishing Marks
Wooden pushup tools with metal tips were used between circa 1820 and circa 1870. Identifiable by the feint impression of the lower edge of the conical wooden tool part way up the inside of the pushup. The metal tip leaves a dome or pointed impression at the apex of the pushup.
