Summary
Album contains photographs documenting the construction internally and externally of the Briquette Factory in Yallourn from 1929 to 1931. Part of a large photographic collection of glass plate and film negatives, photographic prints and photo albums, relating to the development of the electric power supply industry in Victoria, operated by the State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SECV) from 1919 to 1993 and various predecessor private and municipal power supply enterprises dating back to the late 1880s.
Physical Description
Navy album with gold and red flower detail imprinted on front cover. Album contains 44 dark green pages with cut-outs on each page holding 84 black and white photographs. Label attached on top half of spine. Inside leaf contains small booklet attached with press pin, front cover made from card, followed by small photographs.
