Summary
Alternative Name(s): Pin, Button
Small metal badge, possibly dating to World War I.
The badge was possibly used to commemorate wartime service following World War I, considering the nature of the inscription it seems likely that the button was intended to commemorate civilian work. Depicted on the badge from left to right are the following allied nations: Portugal, Serbia, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, the United States of America, Belgium and Japan.
Physical Description
Round metal badge with flags of eight World War 1 Allies in the centre on a gold coloured background. From left to right flags are from Portugal, Serbia, Italy, United Kingdom, France, United States, Belgium and Japan. Words written around the border in blue. The reverse has a paper insert printed with maker's name.
