Summary
Alternative Name(s): Respirator Note
Handwritten note on lined paper, possibly written by Gwendolen Luly, likely around April 1942. The author refers to the magazine 'Pix', which on 18 April 1942 described what to do in the event of a civilian having no gas mask: mix 5 parts of soda bicarb to 1 part glycerine to 8 parts water. Apply to pad and place over nose. The recipe was to be used for all gasses except mustard gas.
Physical Description
Nine lines of handwritten text in black ink on blue lined paper. Paper has a neat horizontal tear along the bottom edge of the sheet.
