Summary
Cabinet 6 is a custom built type rack with some carpentry work added on top to make a slope for a case to be placed on for ease of setting. The drawers in this case are odd drawers and did not come with the cabinet.
Much of Museum Victoria's printing type collection is stored in numbered cabinets, trays and museum storage containers.
