Summary
Ventilator in the Dome of the Royal Exhibition Building, prior to the restoration of the building in the early 1990s. The photo was taken during the erection of the scaffolding. In 1994 Kane Constructions completed the Exhibition Building, Dome Restoration project. The project involved the replacement of external cladding to the dome and restoration of the render, paint work and Victorian cast iron elements.
