Summary
This ceramic ink bottle was excavated at the Commonwealth Block site between 1988 and 2003.
Writing implements, found throughout Little Lon, indicate that writing was a commonplace activity. The pens, pencils and inkwells are a tantalizing reminder of words forgotten long ago.

This is a ceramic ink bottle. It has a short neck with flat shoulders and a round body. The lip is chipped.
