Physical Description

A pair of moccasins with animal hide soles and upper sections of blue, black and red felted woollen cloth and red/pink silk. The main section of the shoe is constructed from blue woollen cloth with a circular trim of red woollen cloth at the toe and a tongue of black woollen cloth. The inner part of the shoe is lined with a red/pink silk fabric. The upper edge of the shoe is lined with red silk ribbon and two pairs of silk ribbons are sewn into the front to act as laces. Other edges of the shoe are trimmed with a green/blue silk ribbon and various other pieces of silk, red felt, beads and sequins are sewn throughout the outer section of the shoe as decoration.
