A boy in a cart, with a goat in harness pulling it, in a backyard. This photograph shows Bill Onken, aged 12 training a goat to pull a cart for goat races in White City, circa 1922. His step mother Maude Onken, took this photograph in their backyard in North Melbourne. The backyard had many uses. Pigeons and goats were kept, and the clothes line was attached to a pole in the ground.
