Weatherboard house under construction on unmown block of land. Stumps are visible. This photograph shows Bill Cruttenden's house in Beaumaris in about 1949, when the house was being built. Bill had to build the house on the weekend, as he couldn't get anyone to build it during to the housing shortage.
