Summary

Black and white photograph featuring two children, John and Helen Booth, in a wading pool at the front of their house, East Doncaster, February 1965. This house was designed through The Age newspaper's 'Small Homes Service' and built by a contract builder, starting in 1959. The children's father, Ron Booth, worked for a hardware company and so had access to cheap building materials.

Photograph collected as part of Melbourne's Biggest Family Album in 2006.
