Description of Content
Three women, two babies and two girls standing out the front of a newly built house in Melville Road, Ivanhoe, with a vacant block next door, circa 1938. This house was thought to have been an AV Jennings house. Win & Lot were sisters, Jean their friend. Win and Jean were visiting Lot, who was lonely in her new house. Win and Lot met once a week. Jean lived in Reservoir and visited by train. Eventually Lot found it too lonely in Ivanhoe and her family moved back to Fitzroy.
