Description of Content
Men and women, some in ceremonial and others in plain dress, draw an elaborate carriage in a parade. Others play drums and cymbals. This Krishna Birthday Parade in July 1974, was photographed somewhere in the City of Melbourne, possibly a park, judging by the curb of the path. Lisa Kendall, encouraged by her father Garth, joined the parade as it went past.
