Two men 'playing a duet' on beer bottles in a backyard, with a program of performances poster. Dick Fletcher and Stan Fletcher playing a duet on beer bottles for 'the Calithumpian Band', circa 1913. Stanley Fletcher had a wicked sense of humour and his daughter guesses that the rest of his family did too. Stanley played the clarinet, and it's likely that the rest could play their instruments too. This series of four photographs, MM110333, MM110334, MM110335 and MM110336, were probably taken in the family backyard in Brunswick. The signs about ducklings and chooks is probably a joke on the fact that the family kept hens.
