Crowd of people walking along West Gate Bridge to the city, with view of Melbourne skyline in background. On this particular day in 1979 Margaret Grey, on the right, and her friend Norma, on the left, accompanied by family members, walked the length of the West Gate Bridge and back. On the day one lane was closed off for the purpose of the walk, which took place not that long after the bridge opened. It was quite a windy day, making the long walk interesting.
