Here we have a photograph of Robin Mortimer and her brother David, taken in the front yard of the family home, Camberwell, 1953. Judging by the good clothes being worn, Robin thinks that they must have been on their way to a family outing. The family Ford 'Ute' is parked in the background. In those days everyone would sit on the bench seat and each other's laps without seatbelts.
