Description of Content
Two racing cars being driven on a road through a park, with crowds watching from opposite side of the track. This photograph shows the Moomba Car races in Albert Park, February 1956. The photographer David Meale remembers it as 'A precursor to the Grand Prix.' David says he 'must have been at the finish line, but he was keener on taking the photograph than remembering the names of the racers.'
