View of Princess Pier and the Italian Lloyd Triestino passenger ship 'Neptunia' at Port Melbourne. Parked cars and a building are in the foreground and the 'front light' of what is now Beacon Cove is visible in the background. This photograph shows a view of Prince's Pier and the 'MV Neptunia', Port Melbourne, 1952. It was taken from Station Pier. The photographer David Meale, was there because he was farewelling other people on another ship, and he liked the look of the 'Neptunia' in the distance.
