Two boys and two girls at their First Communion, in church. The boys are formally dressed, and the girls are wearing white dresses with veils. This photograph shows Kate Lhuede at her first Holy Communion, St Joseph's Port Melbourne, 1975. Kate is the first girl on the left. Genella Grant, the girl in front of her was a friend of Kate's. Kate's mother made the dress and the veil. Kate still has the dress.
