Description of Content
A man, woman and three boys standing outside a butchers shop. There is a Model T Ford delivery van next to them, parked on the street. It appears to have been converted from a sedan. This photograph shows the Barnes family standing outside John Barnes' butcher and dairy shop in West Footscray, circa 1925. He named the store Olney Dairy after the village he came from in England. His wife Charlotte Barnes milked the cows to make butter and ice cream.
