A man on an Indian motor bike in hat and suit with a woman sitting behind him, 'side saddle', wearing skirt and cloche hat. This photograph shows Ada Jewel and Jim Martins on their Indian motor bike, 1926. Jim would come down every weekend from Bendigo to visit Ada until they married in 1928. His family remembers that 'He always said the road through the Black Forest was just paved with felled logs to counter the mud, which made it a very bumpy trip.'
