Description of Content

A man and woman standing on the foreshore, with their camping site behind them. This photograph shows John and Dorothy Daws on the foreshore at Rye, over looking the beach, 1960. There was a camping site, and they carried a trailer with a pop-up canvas tent and an annex, which was handmade on an old Singer sewing machine by Dorothy. Their son Eric was 19 and took the photograph while he was holidaying with them.
