Boy looking over Grandmother's shoulder. She is showing him the embroidery in her hands. This original photographic postcard shows David Altson, aged 11, with his grandmother Rose Altson. The photograph was taken at Rose's home in Robe Street St Kilda by a professional photographer in about 1943. Rose was showing David some embroidery or tapestry that she had been doing.
