Description of Content

Staff and owner group photograph of T W Pearce Window Frames Sash and Door Factory. This photograph shows the staff and owner of T W Pearce Window Frames, Sash and Door Factory, Abbotsford. The contributor collects antique photographs. He is unsure how this one came to be in his possession, possibly from a demolition site. He has seen 'Pearce and Co Hardware Merchants' on the corner of Church and Victoria Street Abbotsford's boarding which suggests the business began in 1857. This makes him think this may be that site in the early years of the business, circa 1870s.
