Men in swimming costumes walking through crowds beach. This photograph shows the crowds at Abbott Street Beach, Sandringham, February 1970. Three men were walking towards camera, others in the water and on the beach. The photographer Russell Beedles used to go this beach with friends as it was 'the place to be', and as usual, had his camera, and was able to capture the busy beach scene.
