Men and women sun-bathing in crowd at beach. This photograph shows the crowds at Abbott Street Beach, Sandringham, 1970. The foreground features sunbathers lying on beach, and there are beach umbrellas in the background. The view is towards Red Bluff and Half Moon Bay. The photographer Russell Beedles used to go this beach with friends as it was 'the place to be', and as usual, had his camera, and was able to capture the busy beach scene.
