Crowds wading and swimming in the sea. This photograph shows the crowds at Abbott Street Beach, Sandringham, 1970. People are wading in the water. The photographer Russell Beedles used to go this beach with friends as it was 'the place to be', and as usual, had his camera, and was able to capture the busy beach scene.
