Russell Beedles had been practicing reverse parking in Kew for his drivers licence. He was aged 18. Russell remembers his family 'waited till he was 18, then the entire family took driving lessons and bought a car. They couldn't afford a car right away and saved up for it.' Russell turning 18 was the incentive to get the car. It was his second year of university.
