Description of Content
Two women and a man working in a cherry orchard. This photograph shows the cherry orchard on the Frith family poultry farm in Blackburn Road, Blackburn, 1938. According to the family, 'the patriarch of the family came to Australia as a master mariner and when he married he bought the poultry farm. During the Depression they did relatively well as they had milk and lots of food. He sold it in 1958 for £8000.'
