Description of Content

Woman in coat, carrying gloves and hat, standing on the road, after ANZAC Day March. There is a crowd of people on the footpath. This photograph shows Maureen Kean on St Kilda Road Melbourne, following the ANZAC Day March in 1947. Maureen remembers: 'Nothing was open in Melbourne on the weekend in those days, which added to the big crowds that used to attend. A street photographer took this photo, which was quite a common thing for those days.'
