This photograph shows a photographer and crowd of 'day trippers' on a rocky beach, probably the back beach of Sorrento, circa 1920. Not much is know by the family about this photograph. Adrian Holloway and his mother Elizabeth Holloway, and probably his two sisters went on an outing on one of the Port Phillip ferries, either the 'Hygeia', 'Weeroona' or 'Ozone', probably to Sorrento, in the 1920s. The photograph shows unknown people on the beach, posing for a photograph, or looking at the view, with man taking a photograph in the foreground.
