Description of Content
Unknown coastal cargo and passenger steamer, viewed from the water. The ship has one visible smoke stack, and a washing line towards the front. This photograph shows an unknown coastal cargo and passenger steamer, on Port Phillip Bay, circa 1920. Not much is know by the family about this photograph. Adrian Holloway and his mother Elizabeth Holloway, and probably his two sisters went on an outing on one of the Port Phillip ferries, either the 'Hygeia', 'Weeroona' or 'Ozone', probably to Sorrento, in the 1920s. The unknown coastal cargo and passenger steamer was 'snapped' on Port Phillip Bay, probably as the paddle steamer Adrian's party was on passed by.
