Description of Content
View of the passenger deck and passengers on a steamer ferry. Seating, a funnel, and the deck above are all visible. This photograph shows passengers on board a steamer ferry circa 1920. Not much is know by the family about this photograph. Adrian Holloway and his mother Elizabeth Holloway, and probably his two sisters went on an outing on one of the Port Phillip ferries, either the 'Hygeia', 'Weeroona' or 'Ozone', probably to Sorrento, in the 1920s. This photograph shows people unknown to the family, but also shows a wider view of the open air passenger seating on the paddle steamer.
