This photograph shows butcher Joseph Doolan and his assistant Cliff Bubb outside Doolan's Butcher Shop at 411 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, circa 1925. Joseph Doolan was the proprietor of the shop from 1925 to around 1967. It was a corner store, on the corner of Westgarth Street. Note the shop windows which opened to the footpath.
