Three men and two women, (one carrying a baby) standing by car, at the top of the mountain, with bush and view behind them. This photograph shows the Doolan and extended family at the Observatory at Mount Dandenong, Christmas December 1937. The car is probably a Buick. Wally and Myra Wright had come over from Perth to see Joseph and Jean Doolan's new baby and were seeing the sights. The Doolan family believes that the party most likely went from Captain Cook's Cottage in the morning to Mount Dandenong in the afternoon.
