Description of Content
A man and woman underneath an arch of flowers at a front gate of a suburban home. This photograph shows Adolphus and Florence Holden at the gate of their family home in Kensington, early 1930s. Their house was the winter base for Holden Brothers Circus. Their granddaughter remembers: 'They used to come home for the winter months, usually 2 or 3 months when the roads were difficult to travel on and people didn't want to come out and see shows in the cold.' One of the Holden Circus trucks and a caravan is behind them.
