Description of Content
A man holding a baby in front of a circus caravan in an open field. This photograph shows Danny Dealma of Holden Brothers Circus, holding Francis Holden's son Frankie, early 1940s. One of the Holden brothers, Adolphus 'Dolph' jnr or Francis 'Frank', built the caravan behind them. Frank did the painting, including 'Yworrie' on the front. Melba Ryan remembers: 'Caravans in those days made of three ply, with no lining. When it rained or hailed, there was very little between you and the weather.' The location is unknown.
