Summary
Official catalogue issued to visitors to the "Update '79" Home Renovations & Improvements Show held in the Great Hall and Western Annexe of the Exhibition Building, Melbourne, from Saturday 3 February to Sun 11 February 1979. The event was sponsored by Channel 9, Radio Station 3AK and the Yooralla Sportsman's Committee. The booklet contains a plan of the exhibition and list of every exhibitor's stand, together with numerous illustrated advertisements for products and services offered by businesses represented at the exhibition.
With stapled two page insert daily program and news bulletin for Update '79, issued on Saturday February 10.
This item was acquired together with a collection of trade literature covering a range of home appliances, furnishing, decorating and home renovation products from the Flack family who lived in West Brunswick. It appears that they attended the show at the Exhibition Building at a time when they were contemplating renovations to their own home and collected most of the publications there.
Physical Description
